Did you do work on the development of communication technology? Do you want to talk about your first interaction with television? Do you have a story about RCA? Consider contributing to our oral history program! Contact sarnoff@tcnj.edu for more information.
We are particularly looking to interview people who worked on the production lines for any RCA products, women and minorities who worked at the David Sarnoff Research Center, and anyone involved in the Selectavision Videodisc project.
About the Sarnoff Collection’s Oral History initiative:
Our mission is to ensure that current and future scholars and researchers understand the trajectory of communication technology from the perspectives of both the people who helped create it, and from the consumers who used it.
Our oral histories are freely available to anyone interested in learning more about the history of communication technology, and the transcripts and audio recordings are available for noncommercial, educational purposes and can be used on-site at the Sarnoff Collection. Individuals interested in our oral histories who are not able to visit the Sarnoff Collection can order a copy of our materials.
